SGS, a certification company accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Services (SAS) has just finalised the stage 2- Audit of the Sincro Site Watch Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The two days audit exercise was conducted on the 25th & 26th October 2018 at the Sincro head office in Dar es Salaam as well as at selected operational sites.
In a report by SGS released to Sincro Management following the exercise, the Sincro Quality Management System and the Occupational Health and Safety management system have been recommended for ISO 9001:2015 & OSHAS 18001:2007 Certification by the SGS Auditors. Quoting from the SGS report:-
The company has documented and implemented a management system in line with the requirements of standard. The audit team recommends that ISO9001:2015 and OSHAS 18001:2017 Certification be Granted.
The SGS report will be submitted for ratification by ISO in Switzerland with the expectation that the certificate will be issued on or before the 2nd week in November 2018.
